The Aarons use digitally collaged, self-taken choreographed photographs to parody produced porn and craft self-portraits about relationship and love. The artists play multiple roles within each frame, creating repetition and an allusion to memory, dream and fantasy.   The photographs are secondarily used to construct patterns that become elements of three-dimensional sculpture and installation. Cast glass replicas of poppers and enemas are memorials to events captured in the photographs, and are elevated to importance within these highly patterned gilt sculptures.
